SCUM adheres to the NSW State Government guidelines for COVID-19. 


All attendees (participants and spectators) must adhere to the NSW Government restrictions as they are set at the time of the event.  It is important to note that the NSW guidelines can change quickly, therefore please head to the NSW COVID-19 website for the most up to date information:


Participant registrations will be collected via the online registration through AusCycling.  All other attendees (family members / spectators etc.) must provide their details via the QR Code  available at the SCUM Registration trailer.  Don't have a smart phone? Speak to a COVID Safety Officer for assistance.


Riders and Spectators are recommended to:

  • Avoid car pooling with people from different households to SCUM events.
  • Adhere to the social distancing rules, whilst spectating and participating;currently 1.5m apart for non-family members.
  • Follow the guidance and direction of the SCUM COVID Safety Officer and local signage.


Spectators are also recommended to wear a mask if they wish to cheer riders as they pass through the timing area; particularly if the 'cheerers' are within close proximity to non-family members.


All attendees should practice appropriate hand hygiene whilst attending SCUM events; hand sanitiser will be available.  All attendees are recommended to download and use the COVIDSafe app (as found on
